By accessing or using DELETO ("the Service") at dele.to, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DELETO provides a secure credential sharing service that allows users to share sensitive information through encrypted, self-destructing links. The Service uses client-side AES-256 encryption to ensure your data remains private.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Authentication

Account creation and authentication is handled through Clerk, using the following providers:

• Google: Sign in with your Google account
• GitHub: Sign in with your GitHub account

These authentication providers are used solely for identity verification and login purposes. We do not access your Google or GitHub data beyond basic profile information needed for authentication.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1 Payment Processing

Premium subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

4.3 Premium Features

Premium subscribers gain access to additional features including email delivery of secure links. Features may be modified or updated at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Share illegal content or facilitate illegal activities
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use automated systems to abuse the Service

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

We use DataBuddy for anonymous analytics to improve our service. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DELETO and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DELETO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
